How we use artificial intelligence
Our AI principles
- AI governs safety. People curate merit.
- No algorithm decides what deserves to be remembered.
- We use AI to protect the community — never to manipulate attention.
- AI may point out a technical flaw in your content. It will never advise you on how to please an audience.
- No metric or tool sells an advantage over the future. What we offer explains the past.
- For whatever escapes AI, there is human review and the right to appeal.
What AI does here
Content moderation — every post goes through automated classification the moment it is created. Flagged content is sent to human review, with the classification context in front of the reviewer.
Abuse protection — behavioural signals are recorded from the platform's very first vote, forming the base that protects the community against fake accounts and coordinated manipulation.
Accessibility — automatically generated image descriptions, editable by the author, so screen readers can say what the image shows.
Support for human review — AI organizes, prioritizes and informs. The final decision on disputed content belongs to a person.
What AI never does here
It does not decide what becomes eternal. It does not pick winners. It does not coach you on pleasing the jury. It does not rewrite your work. It does not predict your success.
We could have automated the judgment of merit. We chose not to. Lasting is a judgment of value — and value, here, is decided by people.
Human curation, protected by AI.
Our stack
LifeLike is built on Google Cloud: Cloud Vision and Cloud Natural Language for moderation, Gemini for accessibility, Firebase for infrastructure.
We chose mature, widely used technologies because trust should not depend on the size of the company: the same tools that protect billions of users protect a community that is just starting.
Our responsibility
We built LifeLike believing that artificial intelligence should expand the human capacity to protect communities — never replace human judgment about what deserves to last.
That choice guides every technical decision on the platform.
Human curation, protected by AI.
